The Chionodoxa is a small flower it is quite delicate, the stem is a multi flower, it also has a thin green leaf. The flower petals recurve back slightly. You will see the Chionodoxia coming up and flowering February - April. The bulbs themselves are easy to grow, they like areas with sunshine which drain freely. Bulbs are typically planted at 3 inches deep in September to give a spring flowering. Plant the bulbs quite close, roughly 3-5 centimetres to display the best impact. The typical height of Chionodoxia is 15 centimetres. We have several colours available for you to choose from - take a look at Alba which is pure white. Why not plant Chionodoxia with some other species such as Giganteum Allium and Dutch Master Daffodil to give a height contrast in any border. Our friendly staff will be on hand to help with your questions and guide you to the right bulbs.
